Elevate your toy photography by learning the mechanics of Storytelling.

We'll explore

If you loved Archetypes, Inside/Out or the Idea Factory series, this workshop is for you. We will build on the skills learned in these other workshops. Deepening your storytelling skills. This is the perfect workshop for the photographer interested in learning long form visual storytelling.

We start by creating three-sentence stories. Then you choose your favorite and develop a multi-image story. Each completed story will feature the six basic building blocks of storytelling.

Scott McCloud’s book Understanding Comics will be used as reference material for this workshop. I encourage you to purchase this book for the workshop.

Stay tuned for the next time this workshop is offered.

What they say

"You will not be disappointed; this workshop is a lot of fun!"
— Barbara, MARCH 2023
“I really enjoyed all the different activities that we had every class, but mostly to see how every participant approached the task for every activity and the comments all gave about the photographs I presented.”
— Luis
“I have taken other classes on creativity but something about your approach is completely different and I “see” now what’s been missing in my photography.”
— JANE S., JANUARY 2021
