We'll explore

Have you recently discovered toy photography and want to learn more? Have you been creating toy photos for a while but want to take your work in new directions? Are you eager to learn the A–Zs from a pro?

In this six session workshop I’ll take you behind the scenes on how I create not only my images but we will look at images created by the best in the hobby.  I will cover practical effects, posing for believability, storytelling and connecting with your audience. You’ll learn how to avoid common mistakes so you can spend more time on idea generation, storytelling and personal expression.

I have so much information to share, that instead of cramming it all into one weekend, I’m breaking the information into small, easily understood sections.

What’s included:

  • How to support and pose toys for believability
  • How to choose the best toys for your style
  • Basics of cinematic lighting
  • Introduction to special effects
  • How to set up a home studio
  • Outdoor toy photography basics
  • Introduction to storytelling
