Description
Composition is one of the foundational skills of photography. Good composition adds depth to a 2-D frame, guides the viewer’s eye to what you think is important and sets the mood for your image. In this workshop we’re going to explore six foundational ‘rules’ of composition that work well with toy photography.
We'll Explore
Each week I will provide you with a photo challenge based on a specific compositional ‘rule’.
We will be exploring the following:
- Negative Space
- Fill the Frame
- Creative View Point
- Sub-Framing
- Color
- Foreground Interest
As the workshop progresses you will see how these composition rules build on each other.
Personal Enrichment
The skills you will learn in this workshop will transfer to any photographic subject. Plus, once your understand these core photo concepts, I’m sure you will see how visually interesting your photos become.
Truly understanding composition will set you up for success in other photo workshops and help you create compelling and dynamic toy photography stories.
