Description
This brand new workshop will explore the 20 major archetypes used in storytelling. Each week we will explore archetypes like:
- Warrior
- Anti-Hero
- Unlikely Hero
- Fool
- Mystic
- Etc…
Each week you will be challenged to create a portrait of your unique character based on one of the 20 archetypes of fantasy or 12 general archetypes of fiction. Your image should reflect your understanding of toy photography, composition, color theory and use of symbols to portrait your subject.
This will be an excellent opportunity to practice your portrait skills as well as using clothing, color, accessories and setting to reflect what part your character will play in your visual storytelling.
This workshop is intended as a foundational course for anyone interested in pursuing the art of visual storytelling.
